February highlights
Shawn and Chance hit the Jazz/Laker game, as had been planned since Christmas morning. They both wore their Jazz shirts and were so excited to have a great time. Before the game, free tshirts were handed out (and you know how everyone loves a free tshirt). While at the game, Chance and Shawn turned around to get their picture taken by a lady who was in a row up above them. As their picture was being taken, out of the corners of their eyes, they saw some kid run down their aisle and then run off. When they returned to their seats, they realized that the kid had stolen Chance's free tshirt and had run off with it! Talk about devastation. Not to mention that the Jazz lost. Needless to say, the game wasn't quite what Chance had expected. Chance called me on the phone, sobbing uncontrollably, and the only part of the conversation I could understand was a mention that some "buttcrack" had stolen his free tshirt! When that sort of vulgarity is used in a conversation with your mother, you know it's a not a good situation.

On a lighter note, we had a great Valentine's Day and Presidents' Day cabin trip! The deer were in full force. We had them eating bread and apples out of our hands! We also had fun playing in the snow making snow castles and snow food. Brooke, Mark, Shawn and I took a trip up to Jackson Hole to Shawn's all-time favorite, Bubba's Barbeque, for some ribs and wings to celebrate Valentine's Day.
January recap
Since it's almost March, I thought I'd post about January!  What!??  Where has the time gone!?  I had a wonderful birthday, which included a Jazz game - yahoo!  I hauled my gigantic camera with its gigantic lens because I had gigantic plans to capture all of the players in action and practice my photography.  Unfortunately, I forgot to put my memory card in!  AUGH!  My sister let me borrow her point and shoot for awhile to get a couple pictures.  But they're just not what I had envisioned.  Oh well.  It's hard to believe I'm 33 years old.  It's hard to believe I actually posted that for the blogging world to see!  ha!  I do not feel this old, and I never even imagined that I would make it to this age!  Getting old sure is weird.
